What that means in practice

Some links on DentistAvailable are advertising. If you click one and go on to buy something, the merchant may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way. Advertising units are labelled, and sponsored links carry the standard rel attributes that mark them as paid to search engines.

What it does not affect

• The directory itself. Practices are listed from an open dataset. Nobody can pay to be added, removed, promoted, or reordered.
• The editorial guides. Where we think a product is a poor fit for a reader, we say so, including in pages where an advertiser appears.
• The tools. The calculators use published market figures and your own inputs. They are not tuned to make any particular option look good.

Advertising standards

We follow the FTC’s guidance on disclosing material connections: disclosures are clear, in plain language, and placed near the links they describe rather than buried. If you ever find an advertising placement on this site that is not obviously labelled, tell us at hello@dentistavailable.com and we will fix it.
