The short version

DentistAvailable is a static website. There are no user accounts, no logins, and no forms that submit data to us. We do not sell personal information, and we do not have any to sell.

Information we do not collect

The search box, the calculators, and the timers all run entirely in your browser. Values you type into a tool, including a child’s date of birth or an insurance figure, are never transmitted anywhere and are not stored after you close the page.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL, for security and troubleshooting.
• Analytics. No analytics tag is currently installed on this site. If that changes, this page will be updated before it goes live.
• Map tiles. Map pages load tiles from OpenStreetMap, which means your browser makes requests to their servers. Those requests are subject to the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s privacy policy.
• Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the request for the font files.

Advertising links

This site contains affiliate links and may earn a commission when you buy through them. When you click one, you pass through a redirect on this domain and then on to the merchant, and the merchant or its affiliate network may set cookies to attribute the visit. We do not receive your name, address, payment details, or any other personal data from that process, only aggregate reporting on clicks and sales.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. The eruption timeline tool asks for a child’s date of birth solely to calculate an age in the browser, and that value is never sent to us.

Your choices

You can block cookies and scripts in your browser settings without affecting the directory, the guides, or the calculators. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on request, but if you believe otherwise, write to hello@dentistavailable.com.
